Purpose
Our Career Advocate Initiative is a program for career enhancement that we offer to a very select group of talent in our network. We become your “career advocate” and “go to” resource across the full span of your career. Our career services may include recruiting, coaching and general advising.

What We Offer

• Career Coaching:  TalentPlanet will give you two free telephone coaching sessions each year. The goal of these sessions will be to assist you in taking a more "proactive" approach to planning a long-term career strategy, and/or to assist you in proactively resolving challenges at work. Additional coaching is available on an hourly basis for a fee.

• Bring You Job Opportunities:  If TalentPlanet has a career opportunity that might be of interest to you, we will contact you, regardless if you are in search mode. You will be able to review the opportunity or refer it to friends and colleagues, which will help you build your professional network.

• Networking Opportunities:  You will have the opportunity to meet other members of the Career Advocate Initiative and other top talent through introductions, networking events, roundtable discussions and other activities.

• Career Events:  TalentPlanet will notify you of career development events including conferences and webcasts, through TalentPlanet or other resources that might be germane to your long-term career success.

What We Ask

• Call Us First:  When you are thinking about making a career move, call us first and give us a shot at finding you a new gig. We may be able to introduce you to a select group of VC’s or companies that we work with on a “brokered” basis.

• Hire Us For Retained Search:  When you are ready to recruit talent into your organization (Director level and above) we ask you to call us first and give us a clear shot at the business.

• Refer Business Our Way: When possible we ask that you refer appropriate business opportunities including executive search, executive coaching and team building.

• Refer Talent Our Way:  We would like for you to refer other select executives to TalentPlanet, who might be looking for a new opportunity.
